Avery and Piper: February 2013

More Outside

The big kids talked Pop pop into some swing action! He would walk between them, pushing them both. And he dressed up for the occasion in his coveralls!

Oma took over when Pop pop got worn out.

And Oma took thd kids on a short walk. She referred to this as being like "herding cats."

Avery and Nolan also figured out how to share pushing a wheel barrow! This actually lasted quite a while.

And they sure are cute when they aren't yelling at each other or their parents :)

Piper has started school! And something that makes it easier for me to return to work is knowing she has Morgan to watch out for her! See! They are already hanging out!

And Morgan taught her about pacifiers (jury is still out) and a Sophie! Halifax thinks the Sophie toy is for him so that has been interesting...

As many of you know, Oma is currently going through chemo. And not only is she going through chemo, she is kicking its ass! She has had one treatment and is handling it with all the strength and grace most only wish they had. We are so impressed with her and her positive attitude it cannot be appropriately described in words. She has lost her hair. Well, she started losing it and decided to take matters in her own hands and got rid of it! Here is a picture of the bald women in our family with their cute hats on.

Cooking and Eating

The big kids helped Oma in the kitchen. Really they stood on chairs and ate apples.

And the Momma's fed the little babies!

Taking a Walk and "the Fall"

We took a fall in the afternoon. Piper took her usual spot in the bjorn. Unfortunately, on the walk, Nolan took a big fall.

This is what he looked like after he was cleaned up. One bruise was from earlier though.

And this is what he looked like after enjoying a yummy dessert of smores crack dip!

He really loved it. Please note the chocolate on his forehead (or forkhead as Avery says it).

Getting Outside

After it warmed up we went outside. Here are all the Morgan's! And Piper. Check out Oma's new wig! I love it! She says it looks like her normal hair but better.
