Avery's 2nd Easter

A few years ago Avery and I were in Arkansas right before Easter and there was the craziest, scariest Easter Bunny at the Wal-Mart! Avery would not get very close but this is the picture we got. I really think this is the scariest bunny ever.

Piper and her stuff

 Piper stayed home and lounged with her normal lovey.

 And her elephant!

 She really loves the elephant, but isn't sure what she should do with it.

Avery tried to give her some pointers.

Easter Event!

 Sunday afternoon Becky and I took the big kids to an Easter event at a local church. They enjoyed some lemonade to get settled in.

 They dyed an egg.

 They colored a flower pot.

 They chit chatted over more lemonade.

 They got their faces painted.

 Avery threw some bean bags.

And they hugged the Easter Bunny! Nolan was all about the bunny but it took Aveyr a little while to get warmed up. Nolan also spanked the bunny on the rump. You can thank his parents for teaching him that. :)

Easter Basket

Avery tried out her Easter Basket this weekend. It needs to be prepared for next weekend! But I think she missed the point...

Movie

Avery was a good girl this weekend so her Daddy took her to see a movie! It turns out it was in 3d so she did the glasses for part of the time...

Saturday Night

On Saturday night Avery held Piper. They are very cute together and Avery is a great big sister!

Birthday Party

Saturday afternoon Avery and I checked out a birthday party! She joined in the singing and the cake. It was fun to play with her friend Cannon.

Napping

Piper even took a long nap in her crib. She tried out a different lovey and her usual, the thumb.

Bumbo

Piper also checked out her bumbo. She is just getting so big!

Horse?

When we were leaving we saw a horse! It scared Daddy, but not Avery! She even pet it. She is so brave.

Shopping

 Saturday morning we went shopping! Avery wanted to talk with Piper, and give her kisses.

And then she wanted to push the stroller! She is not very good at straight though...

Playing!

Piper is loving her exersaucer! She likes to play and even talk! Avery likes to spin the exersaucer around and around! But we only allow that when Piper is NOT inside.

3 Months!

Piper is 3 months old! She didn't want to sit for her picture and kept pushing back so we ended up getting a couple of shots with her laying down. I may be partial, but I think she is just amazing.

Sunday Night with the Rogers

 Sunday night we went to eat at Aunt Becky and Uncle Jared's house. Piper tried to hang out with Morgan. And while Morgan seemed excited about it at first...

 And then seemed completely freaked out!

So Daddy bounced Morgan and held Piper.

Exersaucer

 Piper got a new exersaucer from Aunt Becky! Avery and Piper checked out all the cute gadgets it included.

And Piper loved it! She had a great time checking out some of the gadgets, she hasn't figured out how to turn it around to reach the other gadgets.

Flying with Daddy

Piper did some flying with Daddy. They are very cute together.

Sunday Morning

 On Sunday morning we all went to breakfast. Daddy and Avery colored.

 And Avery organized all the syrups and we discussed which kind is the best.

 Piper just lounged.

 And sucked her thumb.

And Avery enjoyed every flavor of syrup! and some sausage.
