Acting Skills
Avery telling us about her imaginary friend, Abba, getting sick all over the floor. We laughed and laughed.
First Vegetable! Squash
Rice cereal was a bust but it was time to start a vegetable so we did squash! Piper got to try out another adorable bib handmade by Karen. And we went to town!
She did much better than she did with cereal but she kept putting her thumb in her mouth. Silly girl!

Zoo
Sunday morning we went to the zoo! Piper lounged in the stroller.
And the big kids rode in the double stroller! Pushed by a sweet Aunt Becky.
We got to see the tiger really close! This is the closest we have ever seen it.
The big kids didn't care about it as much as the mommas.
And we played at the park!
We ended the trip with a ride on the train. Nolan and Piper were really good on the ride. I'm not saying Avery was bad but I am not including her in the list of who was good either.

During the Storm
During the storm, we hung out. Piper rocked out in her exersaucer, with her thumb.
Avery read a book. Doesn't she look like a little adult? She carried around her purse and crossed her legs. I just died.
Piper gave her Daddy some loving.
And the girls watched a movie.
This is what our yard looked like. The water actually got much higher than this later.

Before the Storm
We got hit with a heavy storm on Saturday night. But before the storm hit, we went out for a little while. Piper was a huge hit and everyone loved her. Especially her family.
Rice Cereal
We have been trying out rice cereal, the nannies at daycare say she loves it. I think they are stretching the truth. What is your vote?
And Oma, we have now switched to Oatmeal :)

Playing
After breakfast we went home and played in the front room. Avery showed her dancing bear the front yard.
Spun her around in the big stroller, Avery said she was too big for the little stroller.
And then Avery figured out how to get stuff off the buffet. I kept thinking this was the beginning of the end.
Then we made more jewelry!
Piper worked on her tummy time and rolling over.
And of course her smiles!!
And just looking cute.

Saturday Morning
Friday night we had dinner at some friends' house, I didn't get any pictures. But the next morning we went to breakfast. Avery was busy with her half and half.
And giving Daddy some love.
Piper chilled. But please note that she is AWAKE!

Getting Dressed Up For School!
Avery is all about getting dressed up for school (maybe brushing her teeth and hair though). She is trying to pass this trait onto Piper and put her princess crown on while we got ready. Piper can really rock a crown, huh?
Avery also got dressed up with some bracelets!

Car Accident
Monday night I got in a three car pileup, no, not my fault. Everyone was okay.
When I got home, Daddy and Avery checked out the damage. The car will survive.

Rice Cereal
Piper has been given the all clear for rice cereal. She wore her cutest bib (Thanks, Karen!) and tried out the bumbo.
But the rice cereal was a fail. She did not understand eating it and just let me put it in her mouth until it fell out. At least she is cute!
