Pool!

 Monday afternoon we hit up the pool, just Momma and Avery.

 But Nolan and Aunt Becky came to join us. Avery celebrated by stealing a little girl's bucket and tossing water on Nolan! Nolan did not approve.

 Then we had more races through the spinklers!

 Success!

 Nolan wasn't sure about all the cold water though.

 He did think the big kids jumping off the diving board was cool.

 At the end of our pool time, the kids conned Aunt Becky into ice cream sandwiches. Usually we get freeze pops but Avery told Aunt Becky she needed chocolate. Nolan seconded the request and viola!

 Delicious!

 Avery's "best friend" Sage came to the pool too! Avery showed her the kiddie pool and some other kid's toy. She is really good at sharing other people's stuff.

Piper got her first fruit today, Apples! They were a hit!

Monday Morning

 Monday morning the big kids talked Uncle David into pushing both of them on the swings.

 Piper enjoyed the EZ Go with Oma and Uncle David.

And Piper cuddled with her Oma.

 Piper also got into the spirit of things but feels like Morgan does about swimming (she's against it!). But she did wear her new suit for a little mat time.

And even sat up again for everyone! What a big, and pretty girl!

Swimming Pool!

Oma and Pop pop got some new wading pools for the kids! Pop pop pulled both out, but only filled one.

 Nolan, protesting Pop pop's water conservation by staging a sit in.

 Morgan tried on the second pool (which finally got some water in it). Turns out Morgan hates wading pools and supports water conservation.

 Really hates wading pools.

 But after she got out, she was all better.

 The big kids kept themselves busy by moving water from one pool to another.

Morgan showed her support by clapping.

The Many Faces of Piper

 Piper sleeps, alot. But she loves it and she is so cute when she is doing it! She slept on her mat.

 She slept on her Oma.

 She slept on her Oma while Uncle David grabbed some zzz's.

And It's Off to the Races!

 On Sunday we had a race!

 Nolan chose a three wheeler and Avery opted to race on foot.

 Avery won the foot race!

 And Nolan won the three wheel race!

 The award ceremony. Everyone cried at the beautiful speeches.

And the kids, showing off their ribbons! Ah, the spoils of victory.

Piper and Uncle Jared

 Piper is getting more accustomed to her Uncle Jared.

But she still has to keep on her toes around him.

Saturday

 Saturday we were supposed to go to the river but it got rained out so we took our messed up cake to the lake! Piper showed off how she can almost sit up, but not quite.

 Morgan gave Piper a pep talk about getting bigger.

 We tried to feed Piper some peas but there was a mishap with the high chair and Piper got a boo boo on her wrist. Daddy comforted her and gave her a bottle.

 Morgan gave her grandparents some loving!

 And AVery even cuddled with Aunt Becky after a long nap.

 Piper worked on some tummy time with the big kids but it was a fail. Even with all the encouragement.

 After naps we sat on the front porch (a big change for everyone).

 Avery found out Nolan was getting suckers for going poop so she worked some magic for a sucker! Which is funny because she doesn't even really like suckers.

 Avery and Nolan hung out in Oma's mushroom garden, while Avery worked on her sucker.

 It rained off and on and we saw a rainbow! Pop pop showed the kids the rainbow, which they may or may not have seen.

 And for dinner we had some fish, which Nolan pretended he caught. Avery helped pick the green beans from Pop pop's garden so they both really helped with dinner.

And later we saw some deer in the front yard!
