Park

Sunday morning we went to the park with the Rogers and the extended Rogers! Piper spent some time with Nicole

 And all the kids got in the splashpad. Gage was super fast!

 And there was a little boy with a Superman swimsuit and cape that was too cute.

 Morgan was super brave and got in pretty far.

 Piper acted like she wanted in and then changed her mind. But she got out all on her own.

 She conned Daddy into playing on the grass.

 And then tried to drink my drink but could not figure out that tricky straw!

 The big kids played at the park in the big net.

 Nolan rolled down the hill.

 And then tried to get Gage and Avery in the net.

 Buck pushed a tired Morgan around to try and apease her. Success!

No Naps?

 

 The girls refused to take naps despite all the playing at Nolan's party.

 Avery did lounge but no sleeping...

 Piper pulled up more and...

 took a couple steps!!

She wanted that bottle even though she wouldn't take it when we offered it up. Our girls are so crazy!

Nolan's Birthday Party!

Saturday morning was Nolan's birthday party! We went and jumped and jumped. Well, Piper watched and watched.

 The kids found this contraption and kept putting themselves in it. I'm thinking of investing in one of these for the house.

 Piper played with Daddy and waited for Avery to come tumbling out.

 And there she is! Eleanor was more interested in her Mom.

 Ben cruised around a little but was more interested in his Daddy.

 This is how Nolan was most of the party, a blur.

 Morgan even got to try out a bouncey house and loved it! She did not want to get out.

 Nolan got a crown and a cool chair. He blew out all his candles. He is getting so big!

Morgan sat on the sidelines and cheered him on!

Haircut

 Avery gave herself a haircut at school... Both sides.

 After I picked her up from school we got a haircut. Avery generally is not very good during a haircut but she saw that I had some birthday cake in the front seat and promised to be on her best behavior, which I have never seen so I was intrigued...

 This is some of the hair that she lost.

 Piper thought it was hilarious.

 But Avery was very good so she got cake as soon as we got home!

Piper was happy to be home too since she didn't have to be in her carseat anymore.

Momma and Morgan's Birthdays!

Thursday was my birthday and I got these amazing roses from Pup and Katie!

 I also got an insulated wine glass that I quickly put to good use.

 And we had a dinner with the Rogers.

 Aunt Becky even brough celebratory blower things.

 Piper could not figure out how to work hers but was happy with it just the same!

 Morgan ate a giant cupcake!

And we all just celebrated in general! I can't wait to share more birthdays with Morgan, my sweetest and best niece.

Eating Cheese!

Piper enjoyed some shredded cheese the other day. It got everywhere!

And in the middle of eating it, she would have to suck her thumb.
