Reading Before Bed

The girls are really into playing on Avery's bed before nighttime.  Avery plays on her LeapPad and Piper reads. 

 They are such good girls!

Tea Party

 

 The other day we had a tea party with just us! Piper had to use a plastic cup and plate but still had a great time.

 Piper even pretended to drink her tea :)

 Avery is an excellent hostess, but Halifax wishes more food would drop on the floor...

Being a Good Big Sister

Avery is figuring this big sister thing out! She even pushed Piper in the swing.

Lunch

A couple of Sundays ago we went to lunch with the Rogers and let the kids play more.

I finally downloaded pictures from Oma and Aunt Ann's visit.  Here is everyone playing in Aunt Becky's backyard. Oma tried out the trampoline.

 Piper attempted to figure out the slide, but going up was harder than it looked!

 And Aunt Ann pushed Piper around, Piper's favorite!

Rocking and Rolling

 Both girls are really into being on the move! Piper likes to push everything around, but don't try to put a baby in that stroller. She will toss that baby right out!

 Avery likes to pack up lots of stuff and take off!

While Oma and Pop pop were here we took some photos. Morgan was sick and Avery was, well Avery. But we did get a couple of good shots.

More Talking

Piper has gotten good at saying "Uh Oh!" Avery loves to egg it on! But I'm not sure Piper knows when it is appropriate...

Piper rocked some jellies to school on Monday and after she got over the confusion of being able to see her feet in shoes, she loved them!

Sunday morning, I hung with the girls. I love them so much.

Ladies Night!

Saturday night the ladies went out to a fun dinner to celebrate Mom! Her birthday and her successful fight against cancer. We sure love her!

Park

We took everyone to the park.  The kids spent lots of time in the "Ranger Station."  Even though Avery decided that was a good place to "pop a squat" and peed in it.

Getting Momma's Car Washed

The girls went with me to get my car washed, for the first time in about a year, maybe more.

Avery came prepared for any inclement weather. But it stayed sunny. Thank goodness, this car wash has to last another year!
