Saturday Night at the Rogers

On Saturday night, we went to the Rogers to have dinner and Nicole, Jason, Gage and Marshall were there! Everyone spent tons of time on the trampoline.

Piper and Morgan did not get to join in the fun and were very sad.

But how can Morgan be sad with such beautiful curls!

Charles and Morgan tried out a GIANT train whistle!
The big kids partied, Nolan partied with only his underpants on because that is how he rolls!
Avery got all dressed up and talked on the phone about what she needed to go to the ball.
Piper tried to put on shoes and socks. Look at her little feet crossed!

Playdate

Saturday morning, Maya came over for a playdate so the big girls immediately put on princess dresses.  After a couple of hours, Avery was tired and laid down in her princess sleeping bag.

Piper had to join her. And Maya gave Avery a check up! She is going to be just fine.

Dinner with a Playground

Friday night we went to dinner with the Rogers and the restaurant had a playground! Avery showed off her swinging capabilities with no adult assistance!

Piper learned how to walk down a small step, getting on the floor was not necessary.  There was about a 2 inch lip between the wood and concrete.

While Daddy was watching Piper, she was eating sand. She is so tricky!
Avery pretended to be Rapunzel with long hair. That girl has such an imagination!

Sunday Afternoon

Sunday afternoon, Aunt Becky and Morgan came over to play.

Morgan tried on a hat and some jewelry!
Avery tried on an entire princess outfit. Looking good!

Playing

After awhile, Auntie Kirsten came home to play.  She showed Piper how to make a fish face.  Piper could not figure out how to do it but thought it was great!

Then she caught up on some emails on my phone.

Ate some corks, her new favorite.

 And played some jenga!
She also found some buttons that made noises which were a huge hit.
Sunday morning we played wiht more corks and the ducks.  Mainly trying to sort them.
And then Piper sweet talked Kirsten into feeding her yogurt.
 Yum!
We had a great trip, but we sure missed Daddy and Avery.

Auntie Karen

Saturday morning, Piper and I loaded up to see Auntie Karen one last time.  Piper got lots of time to sit and play with her.

 They even counted corks!
And Piper got a new quilt!! She tried it out immediately. It was a huge hit.

Friday Night Dinner

Friday night we had dinner with Aunt Becky and Morgan.  Avery and Daddy prepped for their weekend alone by checking out movie previews for the next day.

Piper kept herself busy trying to stick a straw in her cup.  I never really worked out.
 Morgan tried a lemon.
 She wasn't sure at first.
And then she was SURE! Yuck!
Piper thought it was hilarious!
But she quit watching long enough to gorge herself on noodles.

Then Avery learned how to share secrets.  Someone would tell her a secret and then she would share it with someone else. Her Mom is good at keeping secrets the same way! :)

The Doctor

Piper went in for her 15 month check up.  She got bored in the room so she tried on my Starbuck's sleeve.

She kept putting it on and waving good bye to me. Look at that smile! She has no idea she is about to get shots.
Well, the visit ended with no shots because Piper had strep throat! Does this look like a girl with strep throat?

She was still a happy camper. Even if she pooped in her pants driving home.
