Sunday afternoon baseball game

Sunday afternoon we went to a minor league baseball game.  It was crazy hot but the kids got to check out the splash pad!

 Piper liked it from afar.

We also got to see Tess and her family! This was the only decent photograph we got with them.

Friday Night Dinner

 I did a terrible job getting any photos this weekend but we did have a big time of it. We started off with dinner with the Rogers.  The big kids kept trying to escape the patio. You can see them in the background.

 Morgan liked the fountain.

We eventuallky got everyone reigned in and they had a good time.

Last Meal

 

 Before we said good bye to Pup and Katie we had a fun lunch!

 Piper was pretty scared of all the moving animals. And it took her awhile to get over everything but she calmed down. 

 And gave her Daddy kisses.

 And then remembered those scary animals again!

 We also saw a giant frog! Avery loved it.

Piper not so much.

Sunday Morning

Before we left, we hit up the beach one more time!  The girls got new chairs, thanks to Pup and Katie and they were a hit!

 They immediately started building (Avery) and tearing down (Piper) sand castles.

Avery built an entire subdivision! She was so proud.

We even decorated Momma's belly for the new baby!

Saturday Night

Saturday night we went to the pier for dinner.  Piper entertained her Pup and he taught her about pockets!

Pup and Katie got to enjoy an adult drink in big fun glasses!

 Avery stared at the carnival rides as soon as she was done eating. 

 The carnival rides were too scary and too pricey so we settled for more water time.  She agreed not to get all the way in...

 And then she "fell" in.

Saturday Morning at the Beach!

Saturday morning we got up early and Avery threw on her new swimsuit!

 After breakfast we went to the beach. 

 Pup tried to explain to Piper that seaweed was not bad.

 Avery did not care. She only wanted to get tossed around in the waves!

 Piper decided to just stay on the sand to avoid danger.

 Avery and Daddy cleared a path to get to the water. 

 Pup taught Avery to build sandcastles.

 And Piper destroyed them.

 Piper loved the sand and the buckets and the shovels.

 Then she found out she loved to exfoliate!

 She was so happy to be covered in mud!

And to cover Katie in mud!

Friday Night

 Friday night we headed to the beach with Pup and Katie! Piper enjoyed a dinner of mainly crackers and ketchup.  Ketchup ended up roughly everywhere.  I think some even got above her eye...

 Avery ate a better dinner but then decided to play with her utensils.

 Then we went for a walk on the beach!

 Piper was not really sure.  Especially when it came to the seaweed.

 Avery had no doubts!

She was so happy we let her get in with all her clothes on.  Just look at that smile!
