Pool with the Rogers

Sunday afternoon, the girls and I hit up the pool (what a surprise!) with Aunt Becky, Nolan and Morgan.

 Morgan and Piper enjoyed some grapes.

 All the kids enjoyed the little pool, but kept begging to go to the big pool. They won that argument.

 And then we had ice cream! The big kids even shared their snacks.

 Morgan shared her snack with Aunt Becky.

Piper shared with me but she ended up with quite a bit on her face...

Park

Sunday morning we hit up a park before it got too hot.  The girls loved the big slide.

 Then the girls had a dance party thanks to Daddy's jams!

And they posed with for their Momma!

Saturday at the Pool

 I did a terrible job getting photos this weekend but of course I got a couple of shots at the pool.  We hung out Saturday afternoon after Daddy spent hours putting together a dresser for the girls' room.

 This was Piper's face when I asked for a smile.

 She got super brave and let Daddy take her through the sprinklers!

 Success! And look at that cute belly :)

The girls had a blast playing around in the water. They really do love each other.

Sunday Afternoon

 

Sunday afternoon we went to a friend's birthday party. Avery had a blast swimming and eating cake. She even got some frosting on her shoulder. I have no idea how that happened.

Circus!

Aunt Becky and I took the big kids to the circus! They got popcorn and lemonade to enjoy the show.

 Nolan loved his popcorn!

 This is Nolan's face when I asked him to show me his teeth. Avery was too interested in what was going on downstairs with the animals.

We had a great time!

Splash Pad

Saturday morning we hit up the splash pad with the Rogers and the Morgans.

 The big kids found out how to get into the structure and play.

 Eleanor was not sure about the big sprinkler.

 Ben had no fear!

 But Eleanor did get over her fear and climbed right in. 

 The adults watching from the sidelines with all the strollers.

 Piper was not ready for the big sprinkler but Morgan showed her not to be scared. 

 But she still didn't get inside. 

After Eleanor got out she still wasn't sure about running under the wall of water.  Chris was no help.

Friday Night Dinner

 Friday night we hadn dinner with the Rogers. Piper showed off her sign language skills to Morgan.

Morgan was impressed!

Sick Day

Piper got sick Sunday night so we stayed home.  Look how flexible she is!

 We tried to take it easy so we mainly played with stickers.

We even put some on my belly!

Sunday morning Avery decided the girls should wear their one matching outfit.  Aren't they cute?

 And this is what Avery wore to lunch. I did not help with the hat or the shoes...

Another Pool Party

 

We had another pool party on Sunday night with Aunt Katie, Ben and Eleanor! Right before dinner it looked like it might rain so we headed to our house and hung out.  Avery was not very good at sharing but we had fun. 

 Piper was exhausted. 

 Ben practiced his doctoring skills.

 And Avery tried to steal Aunt Katie's money.
