After Naps

 Sunday after naps we finished off Avery's birthday cupcakes.  Which ended up mostly on Piper's face... And clothes... and hands... and legs...

Avery decided to try out her horsey swings in the front in order to entice the neighbor girls to come over.  It was a success!

Sunday at the Park

 Sunday we hit up the park with the usual suspects. Piper was so happy to be out!

 These are her poor legs two days after the ant hill attack of 2014. 

 The kids really loved the see-saw this trip!

And they were even pretty good at sharing it!

Addy's Party

 Saturday we went to Addy's party and the girls had a blast! Avery is still a terrible driver..

 But they didn't spend much time in the car and mainly swam.

And Piper ate a cupcake both out of her own hands and off the floor. She is pretty gross. 

Friday Night

Friday night we had dinner with the Rogers! Piper sat in an ant bed so she ate dinner naked, and covered in bites.  It was pretty rough but she handled it like a champ!

Too Many Dresses?

Piper got to open her present from Oma and Pop pop and she got two dresses! She wore them at the same time...

Avery's Birthday!!

 For Avery's birthday, we went to see Dr. Chia!  She told me she was excited to get shots (she even told Aunt Becky that!) but then she didn't need any shots! But she was pretty well behaved.  And so was Piper!

 After school we went to get Avery's ears pierced for her birthday!  She was nervous but was excited about new jewelry.

 She was fine until after the first ear...

 Then Daddy had to provide some support.

 But she got them both done like a big girl!

 Piper helped by digging through my purse the entire time.

Avery's Shadow Box

I have kept these stinking roses forever to make Avery a shadowbox for her first dance recital.  I think it turned out great! What do you think?

Sunday Afternoon

 Sunday was a lazy day at our house.  Piper tried to put Avery to bed.  She is not very good at patting but she can really wack you if she wants to!

 Avery begged for the sprinkler in the backyard so the girls played on the playground. With Avery being a great big sister and pushing Piper so Momma could relax.

And Piper eventually sat next to me to enjoy the shade. They were very good!

Saturday Night

 After taking some maternity shots, in which the girls were NOT cooperating, we hit up dinner.  At the restaurant they had fish!

 The girls loved them! Avery wanted to know what they ate.

 Giggles need some emergency care with some wipes all over her body.

 Piper ate a packet of sugar, I know, good parenting, but she needed something to keep her occupied.

And we went to see the fish one more time before we left.

Playing Games

Saturday we hit up BW3's. Avery played games just like a big girl!

Avery got a Haircut!

 After the park, Avery got her haircut.  Piper kept herself entertained with stuff in my bag like glasses and hand sanitizer, which she wanted to put on her face.

Avery was such a good girl and sat very still! But they were out of suckers...

Park!

 Sunday morning we hit up the park with Aunt Becky and Terry!  Aunt Becky had to take all the girls up the stairs and down the slide.  Piper is not so good at the slide, especially if it has a turn in it. She doesn't worry about saving herself at all.

Piper has gotten really into carrying this chair around and saying cheese so I will take her picture. But how cute is she?

Saturday Morning

 Saturday morning, Uncle Chris, Aunt Becky and I were single parents.  We were going to hit up the park but it was rainy so Uncle Chris, who is very brave, invited us over for breakfast and made homemade biscuits! The kids helped scramble the eggs.  They all took turns and were very sweet about it.

Then they all sat down, at least for a little while, and ate their yummy breakfast. I don't think we trashed Uncle Chris' house too much but it was not as clean as when we arrived.

Surprise Baby Shower!!

 

 Saturday night I got a surprise baby shower! Becky decorated her house, Aunt Ann and Mom made a wonderful dinner and I got tons of presents from my sweet sweet family! It was such a surprise and so nice!

 I didn't get any pictures of all the great presents but we made off like bandits!

 The kids all squeezed onto one small table to enjoy chicken nuggets.  Ben figured out how to put chicken nuggets on both sides of his fork! That kid is so smart.

 Chris had to remind Avery that numchucks are not proper at the table.

 After dinner the little girls jumped and jumped.  As soon as I pulled out my camera they were all ready for a "cheese!"

Sorry I did such a terrible job with the photos this weekend but we did have a great time and I want to thank my family for being so amazing! Love you guys!
