Wink?

This might be Piper's first wink. How big does that paci look?

Piper Sleeping

 Piper loves to sleep! But really only on people, especially her parents.

But it doesn't bother Avery to hang out by Piper while she sleeps.

Bottle

I went to visit Oma at the hospital, she is doing much better, but Avery and Piper can't go with me so they stay home with Daddy. The other day Piper got hungry while I was gone and had her first bottle! She took it like a champ!

And Avery put all her babies in a line on her mantle. They they all went on a train ride. She has quite the imagination...

 Piper has been enjoying her mat, both on her back and on her tummy!

 She is also trying out some of her new toys. So far she hasn't been too impressed.

 Avery has been very interested in Piper and very gentle. She is very interested in how small she is. She is finally getting to realize that her sister's name is not Morgan so we are pretty happy with that development :)

Aunt Ann

Aunt Ann came to visit and cooked us lots of yummy food! She was pretty impressed with Piper and how good she was.

Hat!

 Danielle made Piper this adorable hat! Can you believe it was the first hat she ever made?

Piper showed it off on her first doctor's appointment. It was freezing!

Happy New Years!

 For New Year's we had Oma, Pop Pop, and the Roger's over for dinner! Nolan and Pop Pop played on the bed.

 

Nolan and Avery enjoyed some appetizers and learned a new rule, only dip your chip once! And don't spit your food back into the communal bowl. Some people are so picky!

 
We also had a lovely dinner, which Nolan and Avery enjoyed with sparkling apple cider. They even cheers'ed in the New Years, at 6:30 pm. Avery thought it was a special occasion so she got dressed up in her Brave dress, again. It is a staple around the house these days.

Morgan was super excited to be out and about for the evening and was her usual charming self.

And Uncle Jared is just plain weird. But we love him anyway.
