Leaving the Lake

 Sunday morning, Avery helped her Oma make her famous waffles!

 She mainly supervised.

 And we took a couple of photos.

Piper was unimpressed.

Saturday Night

 Saturday Night Avery got to take Jack on a walk! What a big girl! It helps that he is pretty small.

 Piper cuddled with Grandma.

 Avery rocked some coasters.

 And made her grandparents laugh.

 Piper talked Megan into feeding her a bottle

 And Eric tried on Avery's hat.

 After her bottle, Piper decided Megan might be scary.

 But man that Uncle Eric looks familiar!!

And Piper got to enjoy some dinner. She is getting so big and eating three times a day!

Playing Outside

 After our adventure at the lake, Avery got to hang out in the wading pool on the back porch.

 Pop pop showed her his phone.

 And she got measured! Turns out she is symmetrical.

 And Avery and Piper enjoyed the mat, with some attention from Daddy.

 Piper worked hard on her skydiving stance. Nailed it!!

The Girls at the House

 Avery also tried on Pop pop's new hat and rode an adult sized bike! With some Daddy help of course.

 Piper lounged in the air conditioning.

And welcomed visitors.

Swimming

 On Saturday, we got all sunscreened up and hit up the lake! Some stayed out of the water (like Grandma and Ann) but most of us got in and enjoyed the cool water, and cold beers.

 Megan and Eric even came down to hang out with us! Megan got in with Avery and I.

 And Pop pop even joined us for a little while!

 Avery was VERY accessorized :) She kept asking for her "gobbles."  And when she finally took them off she said, "Now I can see!" She failed to see the irony.

Off to the Lake!

 Friday we took Grandma and Ann (also an import from Canada and a most welcome addition) to the Lake!

 Piper packed up her lovey and Sophie. And Avery grabbed her new Dora toy. Grandma's can get suckered into lots of good stuff!

On the way to the lake we even stopped to show Grandma and Ann the wonders of kolaches! Yummy!

 

Grandma is Here!!

 Our Grandma came all the way from Canada for a visit! Piper woke up to meet her. And once she got over the initial shock, she was very impressed!

 Grandma was impressed from first sight.
