The Pool

Saturday afternoon we had a party at the pool! We were joined by Morgan, Nolan, Oma, Terry, Nicole, Jason, Gage, and Marshall. Morgan arrived in every shade of pink you can imagine.  Thanks to her Oma!

Morgan and Piper kept their Oma busy.
 And Morgan was happy!
The big kids loved the big bucket that dumps over.

All the kids ate lots of watermelon.
 Avery danced and danced.
Gage got soaked a couple times.

We had a great time!

Saturday Morning

We had a busy Saturday morning but I did a terrible job documenting it! The girls lounged until our playdate with Maya!

After playing our hearts out, we went to lunch.  Piper tried to eat fake sugar and pepper.  She is a mess.

Pool

After getting home, we hit up the pool! Piper is getting so brave and will actually get into the sprinklers!

As usual, Avery was prepared for any water by wearing her floatie!

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday, Aunt Ann! We had a most excellent weekend all because of you! I hope you turn 60 every year!!

Pinata!

To celebrate Ben and Eleanor's 2nd birthday we also had a pinata!

 The crowd was enthralled.

 Eleanor tried to stab it.

Harper needed a little help but had fun.
 Nolan needed to help.
Morgan was not sure what she needed.

The crowd stuck through it all!
And at the end it was a free for all! Piper only wanted raisins.

The River

Saturday morning we went down the stairs to the river!

The set up was perfect with some shade and an area to float.

Piper was not keen to get in the water but would sit on people's laps.
Avery floated on everything that she could!

Everyone joined in and had a great time.

This was the view of the house from the river.

Family Trip to Uvalde!

Last weekend we had a big trip with the family to Uvalde!  Morgan cuddled with Avery.

And gave Piper kisses.
 And hugs.
Piper showed Pop pop her "big ole' gut!"
And Uncle Chris found a GIANT bug!!
 Eleanor showed it no fear.
And neither did Avery! What big girls.

The kids colored out of Avery's "busy box."
 Piper loved on her Oma.
And then Uncle Chop and Aunt Debbie blew bubbles!

Piper thought about spending time with Uncle Charles and Aunt Ann but was ready to be on the move again.

Then most of the kids played on the swing.

Until Uncle Chris sat on it and they couldn't move it anymore.
