Cake

I stayed up late after everyone went to sleep to make a cake from Pintrest. This was the result. But it was delicious! Damn bunt cake...

Friday Night

To kick off our Memorial Weekend Celebration, we went to dinner with the Rogers! Avery and Nolan enjoyed some bread with "dipping sauce" that they helped make! Nolan is a little heavy handed with the parmesan but no judging from me because so am I.
Morgan got to sit at the table like a big girl and enjoy some snacks.
 Piper chilled, like normal.
Piper and Morgan showed off their car seats. When we put them down they latched together and Morgan rocked them both! Once Piper figured out what was going on, she liked it!

Swimming!

Our neighborhood pool opened! Avery and Charles swam and swam.

Avery jumped off the side of the pool. And one time she even went under!
It took a little to recoup after the adventure.
She eased the traumatic suffering with an icee (purple) and showed it off to Piper.

Piper got her feet in but the water was pretty cold.

But she did work hard on her tummy time!

At the Park

Sunday morning we went to the park with Nolan and Becky.

Piper was the bell of the ball!

Nolan kept giving her kisses on her belly.
And Avery kept wiping them off!
And I got lots of good sister pictures!

Piper even showed off her rolling skills! From back to belly! Yeah for her! And a really sweet family came by and asked the girls' names. Avery introduced me as Aunt Leigh.

Piper Laughing

Avery danced for Piper and Piper thought it was the funniest thing she ever saw! While Piper smiles all the time, she does not laugh much so it was really great to see her cracking up.

Saturday

On Saturday, Avery sat like a big girl and read a book. She just kills me with her legs crossed pretending to read.

And because she was good, we went to McDonald's (Avery's favorite unfortunately) and she got to play. Piper watched all the big kids play.
Avery stopped in every once in awhile for a snack.

But mainly she ran around and played.
That night we hung out in Avery's room and Piper tried out some new head gear. Adorable!
And Avery rocked like a little old lady next to Piper. Just chit chatting herself up.

Then she held Emmalou (one of the two names she uses for babies) and her "sister."  She told them, "Both of my girls are so sweet!"

Friday Night

Friday night we went to dinner. Avery played with some bread dip.
And then tried to drink it.
Piper and I cuddled and posed for a photo opp.
Then we got home and Piper working on grabbing things and looking cute.

 Smile!!

And then she worked on one of my bracelets. Avery loved to eat on these when she was little too so it really made me smile.

Look at all that drool! There have to be some teeth coming soon.
