Saturday Night Dinner

After long naps, we went to dinner with our family.  Avery and Uncle Eric stared at something up high.

Megan got some hugs from Piper.
and Uncle Eric got more hugs from Avery.
Piper tried out a fork. I don't think she gets it...

Piper's Pancake and PJ Party!

Saturday morning we had Piper's Pancake and PJ Party! This was the set up.

Some of us started off the morning with mimosas! And it wasn't just me, Aunt Becky, and Katie.
The birthday girl with her Uncle Eric.
Avery and Maya scoping out the goodies.
Maya's momma, Ruthie, making sure those kids didn't get too much sugar.
 Cat loved Piper's top knot.
And when it was time to open presents all the kids came to help.
Morgan loved Piper's new rocking horse! She was very brave.
Uncle Eric and Megan had a great time helping us celebrate. And we were so happy to have them.
Nolan was just as Christmasy as he could be in his santa pjs. He was loving all the sugary treats!

The birthday girl made the rounds and hugged her guests.

And Avery showed Megan, Uncle Eric and Maya how to lounge.
Piper eventually passed out on Daniel.  We had a great time.

Pup and Katie!

Last week Pup and Katie came to celebrate Piper's birthday and Christmas with us! We celebrated first with lobsters! Avery was very excited.
But this picture doesn't really accurately reflect her true feelings...
After dinner Katie and Avery made jewelry! These were the results.
Then Katie showed Piper how to use an ipad. She was in love.

Piper is Walking!!

I am so proud of my big girl!

Sunday Lunch

After my family picked me up from the airport, we went to lunch and Avery checked out the menu.

Piper worked on her vacant stare. Nailed it!!

Nativity Scene

Sunday night we went to a Nativity Scene at a local church. They had goats! And the kids got to pet them.

The big kids made angels. They might as well see what one looks like since they are generally not up to those standards.
And then we went outside to learn about the birth of Jesus.

Piper was more interested in the hay we were sitting on.

When everyone sang Silent Night the kids DANCED!
Avery does not believe in a silent night so she got a talking to from Daddy.

Playing on Saturday

Saturday I flew out for my work party but before I left I was sure to get a check up! Unfortunately for me it included a shot...

Piper worked on her walking skills.

 And eating skills.
Avery enjoyed the Christmas Tree, her new favorite.

And Piper gave her Daddy some loving.
Avery was not about to be left out!
And I got in some cuddles.
