Chuckee Cheese

Sunday we went to Chuckee Cheese to use up some of out tokens from Avery's birthday. Avery racked up the tickets!

 She did lots of driving games. She really liked the ones with manequins, she liked to throw her arms around them.

 Piper watched and drank her water.

 And then Avery drove her sister around!

Sunday Morning

It rained Sunday morning so the Rogers came over to play.

 The big kids were too fast for pictures but Morgan got some kisses from her momma.

 Piper caught up on some reading.

Then she showed off her standing skills!

Dressing Up and Partying

Saturday night the girls got all dressed up and partied! Piper was the cutest Tinkerbell ever.

 The party even had a bouncey house!

 There was lots of wrestling!

 And lots of eating. The next day I asked Nolan about the party and he told me, "I ate too many cookies."  Aunt Becky agreed.

 Piper shared her stroller with a neighbor boy.

 And she met a new boy! They played in his pack n play.

We had a great time! But lots of bug bites for Piper.

Driving

 

 Piper also checked out the car for the first time. She knew to lift up her feet when she was being pushed but could not figure out how to move herself.

Avery jumped in the driver seat and showed her how to motor! She didn't even have to yell at any of the traffic for once.

Craft Show

After playing and breakfast we went to meet Tess and Colleen at a craft fair! There was a really cool art car there.

But the girls really just wanted to ride in the stroller and chew on things, keys and straws!

Saturday Morning

 Saturday morning we took the kids to chick-fil-a. After breakfast, Avery checked out the renovated play area!

 Piper kept herself busy by eating.

Eating a lot! That girl can put away some food!

Additional Avery-isms

Yesterday, Avery was playing with her Cinderella ballerina.  She tells us about how the ballerina can do the splits.  Daddy says to Avery, "I used to be able to do the splits."  Avery looks at him and says, "Oh, when you used to be a girl?"  I'm not even sure we responded to her I was laughing so hard.

Last week at school Barrett's Daddy brought cupcakes to school for Barrett's birthday.  He noticed a distinct smell and asked the kids, "Did anyone toot?"  Avery broke out into a huge grin and said, "I burped out my bee-hiney!"

Awhile ago I was drying Piper off after a bath and blowing on her belly to make loud noises.  Avery came up to me and yelled, "Wait! I want to spit on her too!"

 My Grandmother always had a tradition to wave goodbye as we were driving away. Its nice to see somethings never change. :)

Octoberfest!

A local church had an Octoberfest so we loaded up everyone and headed out. Morgan was happy to be out and about!

 Nolan got hot so Aunt Becky changed him out in front of everyone. Good thing that boy has great legs!

 We even ran into Emma!

 We had a great time! I hope everyone else had a great weekend.

We also wanted to let Terry know that we are thinking about her and praying for a fast recovery.

Sunday

Sunday we had a late start after all the fun yesterday.  Avery took us to breakfast and had us pose for some pictures.

 Piper just ate and ate. Like usual.

Pumpkin Patch

After naps, and some presents, we hit up the pumpkin patch again to actually purchase a pumpkin.

 Morgan was not having it! Snacks or no snacks, she was not taking a picture!

 She even tried to disrobe to make a point.
